Her father was John Cardny. She was born abt 1330. I thought I had built a link primarily from information contained on Dr Cairney's website (below), he shows a Mariota, daughter of Stewart, John of Cairdney, Sir. However it looks more likely that he is the illegitamate son of Robert II and Mariota Cardny, whose father was a John Cardny. More information is needed to clarify who he was........ |
