Hi. I’m John, G7OAI I joined the club soon after it started. I took the RAE at Oldham ARC in December 1992,  licensed from January 1993.  Also a member of the Oldham Radio club, RAYNET, the local Repeater Group and the QRPclub. Other interests are photography, flying, motor sport and messing about with computers.

Here's a picture of 'my' aircraft, taken at Tatenhill airfield one fine Saturday last year.  GBCCF is a Piper Cherokee Archer, PA28/180. It is powered by a 180bhp horizontally opposed four cylinder air cooled engine by Lycoming. It has a maximum cruising speed of 148 mph.
It is actually owned by my good friend of some 40 years, Ian Buchan, and is based at Manchester International Airport.
